On 13 May, we hosted an interesting discussion with Prof. Iwańczak, author of a book on John of Luxembourg (the Blind, “Jan Luksemburski”). This marked the launch of the 2nd edition of the book, focusing on the life and legacy of the Count of 🇱🇺 and King of Bohemia (1296-1346).

W dniu 13 maja, Ambasada Luksemburga🇱🇺 miała przyjemność zorganizować spotkanie z prof. Wojciechem Iwańczakiem, autorem książki poświęconej Janowi Luksemburskiemu (zwanego Ślepym). Wydarzenie to było okazją do premiery drugiego wydania książki, która rzuca nowe światło na życie i dziedzictwo hrabiego Luksemburga i króla Czech. Biografia, wydana przez Państwowy Instytut Wydawniczy, jest pierwszą polską monografią poświęconą Janowi Luksemburskiemu i stanowi ważną rewizję oceny stosunku króla do Polski. --- On 13 May, the Embassy of Luxembourg🇱🇺 had the pleasure of hosting a discussion with Prof. Wojciech Iwańczak, author of a book on John of Luxembourg (the Blind, “Jan Luksemburski”). The event marked the launch of the 2nd edition of the book, which sheds light on the life and legacy of the Count of Luxembourg and King of Bohemia. The biography, published by @Państwowy Instytut Wydawniczy, is the first Polish monograph about Jan Luksemburski, and offers an important reassessment on the views of the King’s attitude towards Poland.
