Visit of Prime Minister Luc Frieden to Warsaw

At the invitation of President of the European Council Charles Michel, Prime Minister Luc Frieden visited Warsaw on 11 April 2024 in order to participate in a working dinner on the next strategic agenda of the European Union. This meeting is part of a series of similar meetings to which the President of the European Council has invited heads of states and government in different formats across several European capitals.  

The discussion on 11 April allowed the heads of governments to advance work in order to determine political priorities for the coming years in a complex geopolitical and macroeconomic context.

As part of the dinner, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk welcomed to the Royal Palace of Lazienki the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, Prime Minister of Luxembourg Luc Frieden, Prime Minister of the Republic of Estonia Kaja Kallas, Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Prime Minister of Finland Petteri Orpo, Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sànchez and Taoiseach of Ireland Simon Harris.

The Luxembourg Prime Minister also had a bilateral meeting to his Polish counterpart, Donald Tusk, in order to discuss bilateral relations between Poland and Luxembourg, as well as recent European and international developments.
