Today at 5 pm, Warsaw🇵🇱 will come to a standstill for as alarm sirens sound across the city, to commemorate the 82 anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising that began 1 August 1944. The uprising was a heroic struggle for freedom, intended to liberate Poland from Nazi German occupation.
The 🇱🇺 Embassy was very pleased to host, on the 19th of June, an event dedicated to empowering young women interested f.i. in international relations, organized by Forum of Young Diplomats. It was a great occasion to celebrate the International Day of Women in Diplomacy.
🇱🇺Embassy was delighted to host, on the eve of🇱🇺National Day, a jazz 🎶concert of the Veda Bartringer Quartet as part of the tour of the latest album 'Rise and Shine' of the 🇱🇺guitarist and composer Veda Bartringer. She was joined by L. Peckels🎸J. Cuvelier 🎷M. Magotteaux 🥁
