First EU HoMs meeting in Riga under Luxembourg Presidency with Latvian Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Edgars Rinkēvičs

On 13 July 2015 took place the first EU HoMs luncheon in Riga under the Luxembourg Presidency of the Concil of the European Union. The guest of honour was H.E. Edgars Rinkēvičs, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia. The Minister recalled the achievements of the Latvian Presidency and the Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to Latvia, Mr Georges Faber, made a presentation of the Luxembourg Presidency priorities. The topics discussed during the meeting were, among others, the European Neighbourhood Policy, the follow-up of the Eastern Partnership Summit in Riga and the current migration crisis. The discussions were followed by a Q&A session on European affairs and on foreign policy and security topics.
