Concert by Francesco Tristano to mark the end of the Luxembourg Presidency in Warsaw

On 7 December 2015, Francesco Tristano, a young talented Luxembourg pianist and composer, gave a concert entitled “Warsaw Live” at Witold Lutosławski Concert Hall to mark the end of the Luxembourg Presidency of the Council of the EU. The concert was organised together by the Embassy of Luxembourg and Polish Radio Channel 2. Francesco Tristano performed some classical pieces (Girolamo Frescobaldi and Johann Sebastian Bach) and some of his own compositions mixing classical and electronic music, which hypnotised a full concert hall. The concert was followed by a reception hosted by the Ambassador of Luxembourg, Mr Georges Faber, and his spouse Mrs Barbara Faber-Mohr, at their residence.
